Murphy, NC  – Murphy Medical Center's nursing staff particiapted in the 2009 National Nurses' Week by donating almost 500 pounds of food to the Cherokee County Food Bank. That equals one-fourth a ton! Congratulations to everyone who participated in the successful effort to fulfill our mission in making our community a healthier and better place to live.
