Murphy Medical Center is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations. Murphy Medical Center has 61 physicians on its medical staff and includes a 57-bed hospital, 120-bed long-term care facility, 14 bed Alzheimer’s Unit, Good Shepherd Home Health and Hospice Agency. The organization currently employs over 700 people, making it the largest employer in the Tri-state area.

Built in 1979 and renovated in 1996-2002, Murphy Medical Center now offers a new Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit, Rehabilitation Wing, Same Day Care Unit and Labor and Delivery Department. The Urgent Care Center located in Murphy’s Valley Village Shopping Center treats patients with minor illness or injuries seven days a week. No appointment is necessary and walk-ins are welcome.
